    Ok, that's indeed what I did. But that info can be used by LMS to find
    helper applications. Therefore it would be great if you could "fix" this.

    Use more squeezelite instances

    Hi Guys,
    I tried to use two 7.1 sound cards with some more squeezelite instances with pcP 6.0.0-b7 on RPI4 but when I want to start a new instance over ssh with the following code nothing happens.
    Code:

    but when I put the same SD Card in a RPI3B+ with the same sound-cards it works fine and I can use several squeezelite instances on the PI.

    does someone else also have this problem and/or have a solution?

    Updated to B7 on RPi4B (running LMS) and RPi3B (running Squeezelite). Whole house networked system (including SB + Controllers). All working well.

    RPI4 is in a small cupboard (sitting on HDD) and running at a cool 45C with one of these

    Can't work out whether it is equivalent to Darth Vader or Audrey Hepburn in a small slinky dress.

    RPi4 scanning library in half the time of Synology 718+..... so cool. Lots of work to make this all work.... and thank you for all your hard work. Next project is a cottage refurbishment; all being built around my sound system! Julian

    Help with Alsamixer

    Hookay, got RPI4 running 6.0.0-b7 running. Bluetooth works great and I finally got my Audioengine D3 USB DAC working, but...... I can not get the volume to a decent level. I have it at 5 using the ALSAMIXER. I'm listening through a set of Shure SE535 earbuds.

    Is there a way to get the volume lower? BTW, I am using hw:CARD=D3,DEV=0 as the output.
