Yup... I never push beta talk there. Just too much for one person to update.

    128 MB sd-card

I have an old 128 MB sd-card that still holds pcp 4.00 on an a daily running player.
As an experiment I tried to install pcp 6B9 on it .
Unfortunately the image is just a bit to big. And the insitu upgrade fails at the untar.
Quite obviously a space issue, and not an error that needs a fix.
But I am sad that this card has reached its limits. Progress has its price.

I think a fresh install should still work.

I don't think a new image will fit. Default images are 64MB boot, 64MB user. And that is real MB, and the card is probably 128 MegaBits.

    1) Shut off the speaker when booting your pCP device.
    2) When you switch off the speaker, give it 5 seconds or so before turning back on. Also make sure you see a disconnect in the log when shutting off. If the switch is just killing power to the speaker, bluetooth wont get a valid disconnect....and it will take 30 seconds or so for the Bluetooth daemon to kill the connection.

I've seen some speakers that just wont connect....try pressing the connect button on the web interface.
Thanks for that, but the issue is still there. Out of interest, I tried fresh installs and pairing other BT speakers (Wonderboom and Cambridge Audio Melomania buds) with the same result; and also the same with the audio build of b9. B5 worked correctly, but I can't find the image to re-install.
I'll pick up a fresh SD card and see if that makes a difference.

Lots of changes in the Bluetooth code, but same driver base as pcp5. I’ll have to run a fresh install and test. My upgraded version works fine. So you can see your speakers in LMS, they just won’t play sound?

Can you try to change your player name, and then press save. Then reconnect the device.

I'm just off out for the day, may not be able to get back to this until friday, will retry then. I can see the speakers in LMS after restart of BT connect as eg. "BOOM 3"; and still see default "picoreplayer" as well. Thanks for your attention to this.

Is it possible that this is the same problem as I had with white spaces in the name?

Spaces should be okay with the latest version. And in his case, squeezelite is starting, and showing in LMS. Perhaps this is a confusion...... the Bluetooth device is its own player, you can Use the piCorePlayer device in LMS too, but it is a separate device. Make sure you are selecting the “BOOM 3” player in LMS.

Any hope of getting this integrated in pCp.

I note you have been busy releasing an update since I last posted.

I'm thinking of returning it as, despite some effort and contacting the supplier, I haven't been able to find an OS that recognises and works with it.

    Very disappointing.

If it involves too much effort or is not in your plans please be frank.

Edit: the IQ Audio people advise that the quicktest image available on their website has the appropriate drivers. Don't know if that helps?
