If the card has an eeprom on it, it will load the overlay automatically. IQaudio is sending a sample out to me to get it figured out.

Goto your lms interface and select "Boom 3" and play.

When you shut off the bluetooth device, yes it will not be seen in LMS. That is the way it works, but LMS will remember the device when it shows up again. Future connections of the bluetooth should start playing where you left off automatically.
Thanks - I've followed this to the letter, and it seems LMS (v8.) is not remembering the device when it shows up again; the device isn't visible and this is a copy of the Diagnostics-Logs-BT after restart of device but not the connection daemon.

The device is connecting fine. And squeezelite is starting fine. Perhaps you are just clicking things too fast.

When a player connects to LMS, it will take a bit to show up in the LMS web interface......although the player is still connected and available.

    Doh!

Yeah spot on Paul, thanks for the help and quick response.

Thought I'd better add this to my "How to" document and adding the third party repo's is already in there - what a muppet can't even follow my own instructions.

    Cheers

    Thanks,

Following up on 'When you shut off the bluetooth device, yes it will not be seen in LMS. That is the way it works, but LMS will remember the device when it shows up again. Future connections of the bluetooth should start playing where you left off automatically.'

That isn't happening. LMS doesn't apparently remember the device, BOOM 3 doesn't appear in my player list and future connections do not start playing where I left off. In every case with any of my devices, I have to restart the connect daemon. Is that behaviour intentional?

I think that is the behaviour I also had at the beginning, but that suddenly disappeard and the entry for my headphone stays there. The only thing I changed was to deinstall Bluetooth and install it again, then restarted, paired my headphones and then the entry stays there.

Hey thanks, I'll give that a try

If you started from a b9 fresh image, you will be on the latest config. I added a build number to the log, 0001 is the current release. Restarting the daemon really doesn’t do anything different. It does check for dangling devices and processes, and cleans it up. But the commands used to start playback are identical.

Do you have more than one LMS server in your network?

It might help to use tail to watch the log real-time from a ssh session.

    tail -f /var/log/pcp_bt.log

Also Telnet to your lms cli and listen to see what lms is seeing.

I've just encountered this issue. No loading of LMS or Additional File Systems.
I switched from a static ip to DHCP and everything worked as normal. I then switched back to the static ip and everything works as it should.
    Hope that helps someone.
