Hi,
Full version info player: piCorePlayer v5.0.1 | linux 4.19.40-pcpCore | piCore v10.1pCP | Squeezelite v1.9.2-1158-pCP
Using hw:CARD=sndrpihifiberry setting.
Full version info LMS: Logitech Media Server Versie: 7.9.1 - 1505480690 @ Fri Sep 15 22:32:08 UTC 2017
Raspberry Pi3-1Gb on 16Gb SD, media on fileserver. No Squeezelite active
As soon as i fired up the pi i noticed that the left channel was not playing. Then I changed the players name (Squeezelite Settings -> Name of your player) and suddenly the left channel was working.
Played some time and then again left channel is gone and now back again.
For testing I changed in LMS Musicsystem => Audio => Output modus => Left channel expecting to hear nothing but right channel kept on playing. Matter of fact whatever channel I choose I keep on having stereo. And yes I changed music stream to force rebuffer.
Main question now is how to test if i've got a malfunctioning DAC or something buggy with PcP?
Thnx,
Edwin

Hifiberry used to have a test image, I don't know if this is still the case or if it is applicable to your user case.
You could try a Raspbian desktop image and use the inbuilt OMXPlayer to output a radio stream (or VLC player)

it is strange. Played a stream and got only right, changed stream got only right. changed to local music got stereo. changed back to one of the used streams, got stereo again.
edit: Found test image but no support for Zero https://www.hifiberry.com/build/download/ while original post send to a 404 page https://support.hifiberry.com/hc/en-...l-Order-15384-
google results in a lot of single channel issues https://www.google.com/search?client...+right+channelLast edited by edwin2006; 2019-06-17 at 00:59.

Edwin
I was able to open
https://support.hifiberry.com/hc/en-...l-Order-15384-
seems they have had a few failures.
I would try another image and if that works correctly make a fresh piCorePlayer image and try again.

Yep, found that one also but if you click on
http://www.hifiberry.com/guides/sd-card-images/ I get an error.
Btw this is a fresh install and to make it more complicated now it's playing stereo for some time.
For now I let it rest, will test further this weekend. Running out of time at the moment.

That link for me gives a page with a redirection link to
https://www.hifiberry.com/build/download/
Not that it is of any real further use

reseated all cables, all looks stable for now. Playing stereo for 3+ hours. Best guess is the 3.5mm jack that was seated into a 3.5mm female -> RCA adapter. RCA plugs felt tight, 3.5mm not so much.
Only thing thats wondering me is how it got the on off thing because pi etc is lying underneath my desk in a cable conduit that hasn't been touched.
Anyway looks like solved except for the fact that the LMS setting left, right, stereo does not to seem to do anything. Perhaps it's because the use of a dac?SqueezeBoxes: 1x Transporter (Living room) 1x SB2 (shed), 1x Radio (Kitchen), 1x Boom (Dining room), 1x piCorePlayer (jacuzzi), 1x piCorePlayer (Garden) 1x OSMC + Squeezelite (Movie room), 1x Touch (Study 2), few spare unit's
