Native ops support is very recent. Update your lms to the latest nightly. And then also do a full update on squeezelite.

What brand and model WiFi router are you using? Make sure you are not using any “Smart” connection modes in the router.

Can piCorePlayer + LMS be sucessfully run on a Rasp Pi 1B (+HiFiBerry DAC)?
This might be a silly question but a friend wishes to dip his toe into using Rasp Pi for LMS. (Rightly or wrongly I cautioned him about using Pi 1B.)Allo Digione Signature (+LiFePo Batteries), Touch, Metrum Jade, Bryston B4 SST2, PMC OB1i speakers, HP Proliant Microserver/Ubuntu, PC/Windows 7, iPad 4, iPeng, Squeezepad.

I've very recently started using piCorePlayer and want to thank the developers for the really terrific job they have done.
Thank you.
One question - I was playing around with the Wake on Lan options (which are by no means essential) and couldn't get it to work. Presumably the "LMS NIC" is the network card on the server. I run LMS on Ubuntu Server 16.04.06 and Ubuntu changed from using "eth0" etc to using "em1" etc at some point in the past. (I understand there are ways of forcing Ubuntu to go back to using the "eth0" names but I am reluctant to do that.)
As I said, this is hardly essential but I thought I would just mention it.Allo Digione Signature (+LiFePo Batteries), Touch, Metrum Jade, Bryston B4 SST2, PMC OB1i speakers, HP Proliant Microserver/Ubuntu, PC/Windows 7, iPad 4, iPeng, Squeezepad.

pcp-streamer and hifiberry DAC+ ADC output only noise
Hi all,
I have recently installed pCP 5.0 on a raspberry pi 3 + hifiberry DAC+ ADC and i have activated the pcp-streamer extension. I would like to stream music from a cd player connected with the analog output to the input jack of the hifiberry.
Unfortunately when i try to connect to the url of the streamer
http ://192.168.178.50:9100/S16_LE/44100/2/F
i get only white noise. The noise starts when i press play on the cd unit and stops when i press stop (with a little delay of some seconds due to caching, i suppose).
I have tried with different players (VLC from a pc, bubbleupnp from a smartphone) and i have tried also to stream in mp3 but the result is the same.
To test the hifiberry i have installed on another SD raspbian + icecast + liquidsoap and the streaming works like a charm so the hardware is working fine.
I would like to know if hifiberry DAC+ ADC is supposed to work with pcp-streamer and if there is some additional configuration to do other than choosing the correct DAC in the player settings page and activating the option to stream from line-in in the tweaks page of the web interface of pCP.
Thank you

Likely the correct card is not getting selected as the Alsa input.
From the main page, Goto Diagnostics -> Sound.
Scroll down on the page and look at the following sections. The card number for the hifiberry should match in the pcm.pcinput section.
