Can My PiCorePlayer do other things too?

I must admit to having zero knowledge of Linux but with the help of this forum I built a Pi based LMS using PiCorePlayer and also use it to store all my music on a SSD.

Is it possible to run other programs too? I'm thinking of JRiver Media Centre which I use for all my music management, they have a Pi version available and I would like to use their media network to share music to other devices than my Squeezeboxes.

    Is this possible?

    Thanks in advance

You might find you are better off using Max2Play instead of piCorePlayer if you want to install other software.

You can try Raspbian OS, install LMS and Squeezelite then

I run Raspbian Desktop OS with LMS, Squieezelite, a seperate Spotify-Connect, so it might just work (I'm thinking, not at the same time ).

I have tried the jriver stuff on a rpi ( 2018 I think it was ) but found it flakey, I was not going to pay to find out if it got less flakey , but then I'm not a Citizen of the Universe

piCorePlayer, is purely focused on the LMS ecosystem.......... I have no reason to run others, so I don't spend time to develop (Not that I have extra time to kill either
piCorePlayer a small player for the Raspberry Pi in RAM.
