    Code:

    Error on git.tcz

As always, thanks for your time!

Just ran through the little exercise to confirm that I'm having the same problem I had with i2c-tools.

Likely. I just gave it another kick. Seems the flush isn't propagating the first time through.....something else to put on my list of problems to work on.

Khadas Tone Board DAC settings with RPi3b

    sysdefault:CARD=Control stops Squeezelite

Thank you Ronnie plus the PCP-team,

I have changed/updated the walkthrough for DSD256 with RPi3b and Khadas Tone Board DAC:

    - Install the DSDplay plugin with LMS
    - Install PCP-DSDPLAY.tcz for the PiCorePlayer
    - Set SQL-binaries to Native/DOP DSD Squeezelite
    - Mount your USB after installing and enabling add. FS (if you did not already at the beginning)
    - Set you Media Folder correspondingly
    - Set your "File Types" in "Advanced Setting" for LMS correspondingly
    - Set your Squeezelite output to USB-Audio
    - Set Output setting to "hw:CARD=Control" for the KDTB on the RPi3 (i.e.RPI4 has different settings, other DACs will have different settings!)
    - Set your DSD settings "0:u32be" for the KTBD
and you are all set to play DSD256 flawlessly via Ethernet or USB to your PiCorePlayer/KTBD

hope that helps other users to find the correct settings.
    Thanx again
    Best, Tom

    Pifi DAC

I have cheapo PIFI DAC+ v2 (supposed to be a Hifiberry DAC+ equivalent) which works fine as a Hifiberry on RPi Jessie but doesn’t seem to work on the piCorePlayer. Squeezelite seems to recognise it (ie starts ok) but the pifi green LED doesn’t come on and there’s no sound.

Should it work? Anyone got it working?
    Thanks

If it works on raspbian, it should work on pCP. What driver do you have selected for a card, and what shows up when you expand the output.

Yes I have had this board working.
If I can find my Pifi I'll give it a try and let you know

    AHHHHHHHH!

The clue is the audio driver of course and I was using the wrong one. The problem is that most of the audio outputs don’t show unless you select the BETA mode so I had taken the only one showing which was the wrong one.

In BETA mode they all show up so I could select the Hifiberry DAC+ which works just fine.

I notice that the green activity LED on the Pifi still doesn’t come on though - it does on Raspbian. No matter - the audio’s the main thing.

    Thanks.
