I'm just going to say it before someone else does......

RPI dropped a new board on us today. https://www.raspberrypi.org/products...-pi-4-model-b/ And the pCP team does not get advanced notice of these types of things, so we learn as you do. Greg and I both have the board on order, and will work to get a pCP version released as soon as we can.

I realise that this is of no relevant significance, but I have just installed the new Raspbian "Buster" Desktop OS on an old rpi3B.

    LMS install gave no problems.

I installed Squeezelite from the repository and then upgraded to the latest version.

Playing fip radio at the mo, no apparent problems.

Buster seems to respond a bit faster than Stretch (I know.....go figure )

All the 4gb memory models in the UK seem to sold out...sigh.

Let's hope that pCP goes swimmingly

    Edit:
Just went to RS and got redirected to OKdo...pi on the way

Canakit in Canada, said 4GB modules would not be shipping until July 19. So the ones they had probably never left the UK.

I did happen to see this... I was wondering if the added memory is of any value to PcP Software?

Someone using pCP to run LMS, then yes, this should be a nice upgrade. Hopefully the USB works better, which could open up a much wider range of USB dacs that work on the Raspberry.

Assuming it is indeed the same issue as I reported last week:
After saving the configuration, the right DAC will only by visible in Beta mode. All other modes will say 'Analog', even If you have chosen something else in Beta mode.
This will not affect the playing capabilities.
Living Room: HifiBerry DAC+ Pro & piCorePlayer
Attic: HifiBerry DAC+ RCA & piCorePlayer
    Kitchen: SB Radio
    Other rooms: 4x SB Radio
