So it seems that the card number is correct.
But i have also this:

it seems that card0 sample format is setted to S32_LE...
I have modified the stream URL to http://192.168.178.50:9100/S32_LE/44100/2/F and bingo! the sound flows!!

Now is there a way to set hifiberry to utilize a sample format of S16_LE? I think that 32 bit is a waste of resources since the source signal comes from a CD player with 16 bit samples.
