Receiver Replacement?

Yes, while I'm nostalgic to a fault about the old physical devices, the receiver is the exception. From the flaky power supply connection to the one button which resets is the only control, it doesn't have much to recommend it given the current alternatives. That said I hope I can keep my current devices going for a while.

The one and only benefit of the hardware devices was the reliable sync. The receiver is uniquely compact and can be hidden out the way very well in general. Though so can a pizero/DAC combo without too much difficulty I suppose...
