Problem synchronising transporter digital inputs to duets

I have a transporter and four duos. If the transporter is playing something streamed from my LMS running on Windows 10 then I can synchronise one or more of the duets to it and it all works fine. If however the transporter is playing something that is connected to one of its digital inputs then the synchronisation does not work. Is this what you would expect or am I doing something wrong? If I could make this work then I could listen to my record player (I have an ADC) or TV sound all round the house. Can this be fixed or is this supposed to happen?

I think this should probably go in a section about the transporter but I could not find one.

The synchronisation is for content that LMS has access to - which it would not if the source is digital input to a Transporter.

If you could plug your record player into your LMS machine (e.g. via a Behringer UFO202) then you could do it ...

Sorry to be a bit dim. The thing I plug into usb will appear as an audio device. How do I point the lms at it? Also where does it appear in UI menus?

    Thanks again

Via the WaveInput (WaveIn / Wavin) plug in ... if LMS is on some form of Linux (e.g. a Raspberry Pi) - assuming that the device is recognised when plugged in (see dmesg output to check).

If your LMS is on Windows then others will probably have some clues.
