    TLS for squeezelite?

Spotty played a full album (10 tracks, >1h) without any hiccup in Ogg
    direct mode.

    Radio Paradise next.

Run quick test on Pi 2B/pCP 4.1.0.

    Radio Paradise direct stream ok.
    Phish'in direct stream ok.
    Now playing Spotify/Ogg.

All only quick tests so far, but promising (three Spotify tracks so far)

BTW: these binaries don't have the -pCP appendix any more in their
revision. Would it be back at some point?

Yes. All official pcp squeezelite builds will continue to only have the -pCP appended to the firmware version.

The ssltest binaries are my generic rpi build. I just set the custom version to help identify the binary during testing.

We have merged the SSL changes into git master branch.

A big thank you to philippe_44 for adding the SSL feature to squeezelite.

squeezelite-1.9.2.1143-armv6hf.tar.gz is available which is the same as the ssltest4 build, only the version number has changed.

Windows, Mac and Linux arm builds of squeezelite are available from my lms clients download site.

The TLS/SSL feature is enabled starting at v1.9.2.

You can confirm SSL is enabled by checking the Build options displayed at the bottom of the help (-?) page for SSL.

    Code:
Build options: LINUX ALSA EVENTFD RESAMPLE FFMPEG VISEXPORT IR GPIO SSL LINKALL

Did I understand correctly that this means squeezelite will now stream
certain music sources directly, instead of via LMS?

No, that won't work. squeezelite is no general purpose music player,
    really SB emulator.

Why would want to do that? There are various players that can use an url to GET an audio track through HTTP (VLC being the most generic example). Is there another reason?
