When updating LMS with a later version, is it a simple case of downloading and running the file, or should the current version be uninstalled first? (In case it matters i'm running Windows)
Thanks

I don't uninstall LMS when installing a new version although I am on Linux. I know that you should stop LMS while doing the install. In Linux this done through the command line not sure about Windows

Installing over the top in Windows is fine. The installer automatically stops LMS during the install.

I've noticed for some time that 7.9+ updates on Windows will stop and throw a warning toward the end of the install. Just hit "Retry" and it should resume.
