Hello all, I have a problem with one of my Squeezebox UE branded radios. The device was loaned to a family member and returned as not working with the following symptom: Radio powers on fine and the display is good but after displaying the Logitech UE power on message it displays a message saying "System Error" and a message asking if it can send the information to Logitech. It stays on this screen for a minute or two and them reboots and repeats the process over and over. None of the buttons seem to work at this point of the power up sequence and I have to pull the power cord to stop the sequence.
So, is there any way to force a new firmware download to the unit in its present condition? If so, can someone point me in the right direction? Note than I want to convert it to a regular Squeezebox radio and not a UE radio if that makes a difference.
Thanks,
Bill

Couple of FW Reload options come to mind...
Option 1. revert FW to previous version, then update to current version (which should automatically happen once connected to UE server)
- Turn Radio off: Press & hold the power button till you see “Goodbye”
- Turn back on: Press & hold REW and PWR buttons simultaneously
Option 2. update your UE Radio to SB Radio FW, then revert back to UE Radio
