    Thanks. Have not developped anything else than a Javascript interface, so far...

    I think this could be a very simple plugin. I store in my folder files with specific names:
    - credits.md for the list of musicians in an album
    - notes.md for comments/links

    I determine the folder of an album by parsing the URLs of the tracks (removing the track name and going up in the folder structure of the URL until all URLs are identical - handles the case where all tracks of an album are in a single folder, or are in sub-folders)

    So this plugin could just have two commands:
    - send a file, with the file path as a parameter
    - write a file, with the file path and the file content as parameters

    I would still use the Music Album Information plugin to display the files in HTML before/after editing them.

    I will give at shot !

    P.S. my posts keep disappearing when I try to edit them on Android

    CLI interface limitations - workarounds?

    There's Slim::Utils::Misc:athFromFileURL($url) to get a path from a
    URL, then File::Basename::dirname()
    (https://perldoc.perl.org/File/Basename.html) to get the folder without
    the filename.

    Hi,

    When using the CLI "albums" command with a "search" substring, LMS returns both albums that contain the substring in the album title and albums that contain the substring in one of the track titles. As a result, it is not possible to search for the substring in track titles only, and when searching for album titles, one has to exclude some of the albums returned.

    Would there be a way to add a parameter to the CLI command to indicate whether the searched substring corresponds to an album title or track title (or both) ?

    If you don't like the search's behaviour, then you could disable the
    fulltext search plugin.

    Thanks. Will test it.
