    There are many, like eg. MusicIP or iTunes integration.

    https://github.com/Logitech/slimserv...ic/Importer.pm
    https://github.com/Logitech/slimserv...es/Importer.pm

    But those might be difficult to read, as most of their code is dealing
    with very specific tasks.

    These plugins are indeed specific. I looked at the CustomsTag plugin, and also looked at the lms sourcecode on github.

    - The customstag plugin implements its own tag reading functions, and that is something I really do not want to get into.
    - The database updates seem pretty straightforward, but of course the plugin updates custom tables, which are not available through the standard CLI interfaces.

    It is a shame that the server cannot be extended to include an additional role in this unused "role" (artist -> 1), but I am sure this would be require extensive modifications in a number of programs.

    I think I will just manage with the existing tags.

    P.S. have you tested "musicartistinfo albumreview album_id:123" ? I cannot seem to get it to work with an album_id.
    thanks

    CLI interface limitations - workarounds?

    Thanks for the heads-up. Broke that somewhere on the way. Will be fixed
    in the next build. Hopefully without more side-effects...

    Thanks. Could you let me know when the next build rolls out?

    Just saw you implemented v 1.5 with markdown - awesome, will test it

    I get this error:

    Code:
    [19-04-18 21:32:22.0462] Plugins::MusicArtistInfo::LocalFile::_proxyHandler (383) Getting file: G:\Library\Buster Williams Trio Live - 65 Roses\credits.md
    [19-04-18 21:32:22.0469] Slim::Networking::IO::Select::__ANON__ (131) Error: Select task failed calling Slim::Web::HTTP::processHTTP: Can't locate object method "renderAsHTML" via package "Plugins::MusicArtistInfo::Parser::Markdown" at C:\ProgramData\Squeezebox\Cache\InstalledPlugins/Plugins/MusicArtistInfo/LocalFile.pm line 402.
    ; fh=Slim::Web::HTTP::ClientConn=GLOB(0xb18c554)
    The source file Markdown.pm is in the folder C:\ProgramData\Squeezebox\Cache\InstalledPlugins\P lugins\MusicArtistInfo\Parser, and it contains the function renderAsHTML. Do you know what could be the problem ?

    The albumreview CLI command with album_id works !

    P. S. I see that in your code you implemented more advanced markdown rendering. I will test that out (once the error is fixed).

    I just double-checked on a Windows machine, and it's working as expected
    there, too.

    I deavtivated the plugin, reavtivated it and still have the same error. I will reinstall LMS and see if that solves it.

    I reinstalled LMS and still have the same error message. Do you have any idea what could be the issue ?
