Add new option to PiCorePlayer configuration webinterface for LMS

    Hi all,

I have been looking for a way to play music from a USB stick with may PiCorePlayer, and found a solution that I think could be included as a configuration option in the web interface. That would make it easier for other to repeat the process (and for me, when installing some PiCorePlayers for some friends...).

Would it be possible to include this as a simple checkbox in the web interface? I think if everything is in place, the only thing necessary would be to add/remove the udev rule file for activating/deactivating this feature. It may even be combined with other music sources (although scanning may take longer in that case, I am running the local LMS only for the USB stick...)

    Regards,
    DomCa

I'm not a fan of automount. If you put your media on a stick, then just tell pCP to mount that stick everytime at boot.
piCorePlayer a small player for the Raspberry Pi in RAM.

    Hi paul,

thanks for the feedback. For me it is an important features, because I need it to mount USB sticks when the player is already running.
Greatly improves the WAF (and the children acceptance factor). I will also use a Wondom amplifier with bluetooth, to have all options.

    Best regards,
