Which is the advantage to switch from Lms 7.9.2 to 7.9.3 or 8.0?

    Hi, I'm on Lms 7.9.2 (picoreplayer 6.0).
If I switched to 7.9.3 or to 8.0 which is the difference? Now it works well

Biggest new feature (so far) is integration of music services: your
album collection from Spotify/TIDAL/Qobuz would show up as part of "My
    Music".

I for myself for sure. That's why I created it :-).

Whether the service integration is for you or not, I can not say. Give
it a try. If you don't like it you can re-install 7.9 again.

Due to the title I think this thread will be widely read.
Michael, can you summarise the bug fix commit policy as relates to different versions.

As if there was a policy :-). But here's what I try to do:

    - important stuff breaking 7.9 is fixed in 7.9, as long as 8.0 is not
    considered a stable release

    - more exotic fixes only go in to 8 (and might be back-ported at some
    later point)

    - new features go in to 8

The alarms set on my two SBRs no longer work since I upgraded to 8.0. This surprises me, since I thought the alarm function was held on the SBR itself.
Generally, alarm problems are where the SBR can't contact the playlist and defaults to the 'disco tune'. At the moment, the alarm just doesn't go off. In itself, this isn't too disastrous since we're in quarantine and working from home, but it would be nice to sort it out.

Edit: it may be a timezone issue - one of the test alarms went an hour later than expected.

There should be absolutely no change in how alarms work in LMS8. Did you
install the LMS8 compatibility patch for SBR?
