They may have the same SSIDs, but it may be new equipment. And fairly low level signals from down the street can cause problems, as well. How about gently asking them if they changed or added anything new in the last few months? It would be good to have a list of offending routers. Such a list could motivate manufacturers to update their products to reduce or eliminate the interference. Until the issue is resolved, you can try the script, mitigate the problem, and perhaps collect some data as well.

I believe there are reports of UEs having the same issue. But I wonder if the UE firmware has updated drivers. Perhaps its problems are different and fewer (or more).

thanks for you're reply, yesterday i have turn off the WiFi 6 client on 2.5 gHz, and i'm waiting (this radio is a logitech UE) the other radio is a logitech and had no problem, when i have installed wlanpoke, this radio stay connected about a 4 weeks.

the router is RT-AX88U and a RT-AX58U (imesh)

    Hi.
Think i have somehow kind of the same Problems.

Since arround 1 week every SB Radio i run on WLAN disconnect from Server (WLAN icon turns red)
But i think its not disconnected from WLAN, but somehow its "only" disconnected from Server QLMS on a QnaP?!?

I Use many SB Radios some with LAN others with WLAN the WLAN ones on a Deco M5 Mesh System was working for months without any disconnects and Problems. The ones on LAN still work without any Problem.

So back to the WLAN ones, just since around a week they lost connection to QLMS Server. I see in the DECO App that they are still connected to the WLAN. But WLAN Icon on this SB Radios turns red and nothing can be played. Restart the device solves it for some minute or hour. I also changed the wired ones with the nonwired ones.
The more i think about, i think its the server that blocks the WLAN ones out after some time?

Hope you Specialists have an Idea for my Problem?
    Greetings from Switzerland

The 2 radios still works, no problem at all, wlanpoke, does his job very well:

    recent AP scan results

the fails is comming from the update fromt the squeezeboxserver and some update from the os.

What i saw on an other router with openrwt, i saw that the radio had his connection with the radio in standby, but about i believe a 10 minutes the squeezeboxer lost his connections, The wifi link coloured bleu. When the radio was playing, nothing happend, the radio still stay connected.
The problem realy disapeared with wlanpoke and the router with disabeld 802.11ax / Wi-Fi 6 mode, i installed asusrwt-merlin and i have now a guest network in imesh mode on two routers (2.4 G), and that is working very good, no problem.
The signal on the radio jumps from 50% to 93%.

The radio's is not the only problem, with the new modes, there al lot other wifi clients what have problems, what seems like disconnections.

no wlanpoke is not the only thing, wlanpoke controlled the connection, and when it's not there then he reset the connection. Wlanpoke make the connection stable.

wlanpoke must be installed on the radio, and in the zip file is a manuel.txt, and there is the install, it's not difficult.
the only problem what there was for me, the protocol to put the zip file on the radio, but that was my fault, not reading.

I think you're english is better then what i wrote.

The reason from disconnection is mesh or imesh and enabled 802.11ax / Wi-Fi 6 mode, that was the reason on my router, but what's yours, there can be an other possibility, i have searched a lot, tried a lot, and had a thought to control the connection with the squeezeboxserver, then i found wlanpoke, what does what i want to do and much more better . Thnx.
i have done the installation, but not sure if i have to start it again with putty after every reboot of a radio.
Not even sure if it really runs Its not as easy as excepted. And edit the settings of wlapoke was to much for me.
I have also placed one of the radios 30cm to the right, and now its stable (again) since two days.
Think i order one of those wlan adapters i read in another thread (orwas it this?) to be safe.

When you put this in the rc5.local:
    # cd /etc
    # cd init.d
    # ls -ltr
    -rwxr-xr-x 1 root root 1617 Jan 1 1970 wlan
    -rwxr-xr-x 1 root root 1190 Jan 1 1970 udev
    -rwxr-xr-x 1 root root 837 Jan 1 1970 suspend
    -rwxr-xr-x 1 root root 1220 Jan 1 1970 squeezeplay
    -rwxr-xr-x 1 root root 3774 Jan 1 1970 rcS
    -rwxr-xr-x 1 root root 618 Jan 1 1970 monitor_msp430.sh
    -rwxr-xr-x 1 root root 1322 Jan 1 1970 blupdate
    -rwxr-xr-x 1 root root 98 Apr 7 16:46 rcS.local

    # cat rcS.local
    #!/bin/sh

    /usr/bin/logger -s "starting wlanpoke.sh"
    /etc/wlanpoke/wlanpoke.sh -W slow -Wp 8080 &

-W slow -Wp 8080 & then you can control you radio with ipadres:8080 in you're internetexplorer.
you can conrol it too in /var/log

    # cd /var/log
    # ls -ltr
    drwxr-x--- 2 root root 0 Apr 14 15:27 watchdog

    Solution from another thread

I started a thread about some of these problems in the LMS forum. I found a solution to my problems re SB's not connecting to Orbi Mesh. Others in that thread asked me to post the solution here.

You can find all the discussion under: "Orb Mesh and Inability to Connect" https://forums.slimdevices.com/showt...ity-to-Connect

to see the symptoms, suggestions, and my somewhat uninspired, rough attempts to solve my problem.

I don't really have time to go through everything. My issue was hooking a new Orbi mesh to a Tmobile home modem/internet. i turned off all wireless on the T mobile but didn't do more than that to its settings. You can see more details on the original thread.

Here is what worked for me:

    Update #2:

We may have a solution. Disabling "ax features on 2.4" in the Orbi router interface (Advanced/Setup/Wireless) seems to have done the trick. I have 3 SB's running on Orbi mesh wireless communicating with LMS, playing library and streaming. Two are even synced without problems. Now it is a matter of time and longevity of connection. Has been an hour. New record.

A bonus: my older security cameras started falling off the Orbi network also. They would not recognize the main network, only the [Name of Network]_EXT SSID. That worked initially but after 10 days was getting shaky. When I disabled the ax features, the cameras recognized the main network and the connection now seems solid.

So, barring surprises, I seem to have solved my problem related to Orbi, SB's, and old cameras. I will report back if there are additional problems.

Maybe you techie folks can figure out how this helped. Have no idea what wireless protocol is running on 2.4 now with "ax features disabled" but it works. I am happy not to go to AP mode and happy (at the moment) not to mess with DHCP.

    Happy Saturday,

    LB
