They may have the same SSIDs, but it may be new equipment. And fairly low level signals from down the street can cause problems, as well. How about gently asking them if they changed or added anything new in the last few months? It would be good to have a list of offending routers. Such a list could motivate manufacturers to update their products to reduce or eliminate the interference. Until the issue is resolved, you can try the script, mitigate the problem, and perhaps collect some data as well.

Hi.
Think i have somehow kind of the same Problems.
Since arround 1 week every SB Radio i run on WLAN disconnect from Server (WLAN icon turns red)
But i think its not disconnected from WLAN, but somehow its "only" disconnected from Server QLMS on a QnaP?!?
I Use many SB Radios some with LAN others with WLAN the WLAN ones on a Deco M5 Mesh System was working for months without any disconnects and Problems. The ones on LAN still work without any Problem.
So back to the WLAN ones, just since around a week they lost connection to QLMS Server. I see in the DECO App that they are still connected to the WLAN. But WLAN Icon on this SB Radios turns red and nothing can be played. Restart the device solves it for some minute or hour. I also changed the wired ones with the nonwired ones.
The more i think about, i think its the server that blocks the WLAN ones out after some time?
Hope you Specialists have an Idea for my Problem?
Greetings from Switzerland

the fails is comming from the update fromt the squeezeboxserver and some update from the os.
What i saw on an other router with openrwt, i saw that the radio had his connection with the radio in standby, but about i believe a 10 minutes the squeezeboxer lost his connections, The wifi link coloured bleu. When the radio was playing, nothing happend, the radio still stay connected.
The problem realy disapeared with wlanpoke and the router with disabeld 802.11ax / Wi-Fi 6 mode, i installed asusrwt-merlin and i have now a guest network in imesh mode on two routers (2.4 G), and that is working very good, no problem.
The signal on the radio jumps from 50% to 93%.
The radio's is not the only problem, with the new modes, there al lot other wifi clients what have problems, what seems like disconnections.

no wlanpoke is not the only thing, wlanpoke controlled the connection, and when it's not there then he reset the connection. Wlanpoke make the connection stable.
wlanpoke must be installed on the radio, and in the zip file is a manuel.txt, and there is the install, it's not difficult.
the only problem what there was for me, the protocol to put the zip file on the radio, but that was my fault, not reading.
I think you're english is better then what i wrote.
The reason from disconnection is mesh or imesh and enabled 802.11ax / Wi-Fi 6 mode, that was the reason on my router, but what's yours, there can be an other possibility, i have searched a lot, tried a lot, and had a thought to control the connection with the squeezeboxserver, then i found wlanpoke, what does what i want to do and much more better.
