    Failed Duet controller

Noticed just now that my Duet controller is either endless cycling and or staying frozen on the startup 'Logitech' and 'Free Your Music' display. Battery is fully charged. Did my Squeezebox Duet bite the dust?

Have you tried removing the battery, waiting a minute or so and then putting the battery back in?

Worst case is you'll have to use Net::UDAP to configure the receiver if it ever needs reconfiguring. You can use the WebGUI, smartphone app or other means to control a Duet receiver once it's configured. If the receiver fails you can always put together a Pi player, it's pretty cheap, well supported and easy. Look over in the Linux forum area of these boards for PiCore Player.

Using Duet system with remote and receiver ... second receiver is raspberry PI

I also have had great success with the PiCore player on a RPI 3 - also serves as a SAMBA server using usb external HD ... still keep library on separate vortexbox server ... I use Squeezer app on android to access, and can also access from remote ...lots of good resources/guides on this forum for PiCore. (The downside of RPI is no gigabit ethernet, which is why I use a standalone server for the LMS)

    Failed duet, controller just fine

If you're in the US and your controller still isn't working, I'd be glad to send you mine for basically the cost of shipping. My duet seems to have given up the ghost, and while I still use my Boom and Radio, I never use the controller for them. Heck, if you want the dead duet, I'll send it, too!
