    piCorePlayer, Jivelite and FLIRC

    dear All,

I am running pCP 3.22 on a RPI3 with its touch LCD display.

I have in my hands a FLIRC usb dongle (2nd generation) and would like to know how can I control pCP with it.
I would need just basic functions... up\down\left\right\enter.

    How can I do that?

Program the Flirc to your IR remote to send the keys you want and plug it in !

    Take a look here, https://forums.slimdevices.com/showt...l=1#post921392

This is what I already did.
I choose a simple setup with 4 arrows and enter, I plug the FLIRC into Rpi3 and then pCP recognize just the arrow-down command.

Are you sure I do not need to load anthing into pCP ?

No you need do nothing on pCP

    The Flirc imitates a keyboard

I usually test my Flirc by (on windows) opening a txt document and check the Flirc moves the cursor with the remote button presses
Remember you need to have text (and lines) to move left/right Up/down in a txt doc.

Check with my keys file in the linked thread

Tomorrow I will spend some time to make it work.

Is there a coplete list of the keyboard keys recognized by Jivelite\pCP ?
Or, let me say, how to tell pCP su increase volume when I press PageUp... FF when pressing "+" etc...

I select the "extended keyboard" layout on the FLIRC programming tool, I check the key on the github you suggest to control the requested function on Kivelite and... wow!
    Perfect.

    thanks you so much

    Hi Steff,

I wish I could say the same. I tried many Tweaks (Jivelite, IR Tools) on pCP 6.1.0 but cannot get it to work. Since the FLIRC USB emulates a keyboard, I attached one as well to see if pCP responds to any keys pressed. Unfortunate none.

Can you pls let me know how you got your FLIRC USB working?

PS. I have no screen attached.

    Many thanks in advance.
