    So, this has nothing to do with the group volume dialog? You are just using the volume slider in the main interface? If so, that is sending volume commands to the group player - I see nothing wrong with that.
    Material debug: 1. Launch via http: //SERVER:9000/material/?debug=json (Use http: //SERVER:9000/material/?debug=json,cometd to also see update messages, e.g. play queue) 2. Open browser's developer tools 3. Open console tab in developer tools 4. REQ/RESP messages sent to/from LMS will be logged here.

    But if I change the volume in the default skin then when the group player starts playing the volume of the group members matches the group player volume. I can confirm that by looking at the group volume dialog in Material skin.

    Edit. Actually sometimes the volumes are correct sometimes they aren't. I have no clue how group player volume works.

    Material is sending volume commands to a group player - it is up to the group player plugin to handle this. I fail to see what Material is doing wrong.

    Either way, the docs state that extid is supported for this API. However, if I was to use the URL, I assume I should check if this starts with:

    • "spotify:" -> Spotify
    • "qobuz:" -> Qobuz
    • "wimp:" -> Tidal
    • "deezer:" -> Deezer
    • "https:" and "album" includes ".bandcamp.com" -> Bandcamp (Not
    • "youtube:" -> YouTube

    I've confirmed Bandcamp, Deezer, and YouTube work. No way of testing Spotify, Qobuz, or Tidal.

    [Edit] I've update the code to get the source via the URL, as this allows for others (e.g. Planet Radio, etc).

    Perfect. If Deezer works then Spotify etc should also work

    Further MAI improvement idea.

    I'm not sure which elements Michael has now added to the JSON calls available but can I suggest that where there is no Album Review returned from LastFM (Edit. I mean AllMusic) as well as now showing the album title why not display the cover art. I don't think this requires any modification to the JSON call as it is already available.

    If Michael has added the "Album Details" to the JSON then that would also be appropriate to display above the Tracks list.

    Material is fast becoming the definitive example of how a Music app should work. I can safely say your efforts Craig are massively appreciated by all of us.

    Info is not accessible via CLI, needs to be accessed via 'More' - would need MAI to be updated to make this accessible.
