Sounds similar, though I didn't do any manual updates. But I've just spotted it right at the bottom. It's the same in FF & Chrome.

I did a restart and now it's back in the active plugins list.

You have automatic updates enabled so maybe LMS hasn't been restarted after a recent update.

Hmm, I'm not aware of that process. Should I see a LMS notification in the player UI? I know it's been spotty in the past (not) showing that LMS s/w updates were available.

E2A; also FWIW the Material Skin separate section as shown in my post above is still present at the bottom of the plugin list. Not sure if that's meant to display like that or not.

You must have put it there, that's the repository URL.

You can remove it as Material is now part of LMS regular plugins.

I have seen threads where the lack of any indication when plugins have been updated has been discussed. This only appears to happen when automatic updates are enabled.
If you turn off automatic updates you will be prompted to install updates when they become available.
Material Skin appears at the bottom of the plugin list because you added an additional repository for Material Skin.

Tx - I've removed the repository URL and unticked auto-update.
    Though I'd rather plugins auto-update and have an off-peak auto-restart option! ;-)

FWIW, in my experience, if you have the auto-update box ticked, plugins update (transparently) with a start/restart of LMS. The only other time is when you go to LMS > settings > and click on the plugin tab, you will be given a pop-up warning that plugins have been updated and you need to restart LMS for them to take effect.

I only ever recall seeing something like "Settings have been changed, restart server?" never seen anything about Plugins being updated per se (I thought they just updated themselves) and the restart server msg I'd dismissed as being a UI paranoia nit, as I've only looked at settings and not changed them.

I'll have to search in the LMS section as I'm sure this must have come up before.

    OK, found the problem:

    https://forums.slimdevices.com/showt...n-plugins-page

And to save you reading, Michael responded thusly:

"> What is the status of this?

I tried to understand what's going on, and was once again shocked by how
convoluted the plugin handling is... so I gave up after a while."

    LOL.
