No. It's not a feature I like (I hate it in Gmail) so I have no intention of implementing.
Material debug: 1. Launch via http: //SERVER:9000/material/?debug=json (Use http: //SERVER:9000/material/?debug=json,cometd to also see update messages, e.g. play queue) 2. Open browser's developer tools 3. Open console tab in developer tools 4. REQ/RESP messages sent to/from LMS will be logged here.

(I still prefer Mobile view on the 7" touchscreen)
Grid/list toggle is available on mobile layout, it's just moved to the top right main menu.

I'm sorry to hear that. Although I don't like it in mail programs either (because unintentional deletes happens too quickly for my taste) I used to like this a lot in iPeng. It really saves a lot of time and clicks when you want to quick-edit the current playlist. Like in a randomly composed playlist when you want to get rid of the next (unwanted) 4 or 5 tracks. Too bad. Thanks anyway.

Are you aware of the Select option in the track context menu (in the Queue view)? It lets you select those four or five tracks and delete them with just a few clicks. Specifically, one click to open the context menu on the first track, another click on the Select option in that menu, than one click on each of the remaining tracks, and finally one click on the minus sign at the top. You might be able to do the same thing slightly faster with the swipe-away option, but the difference is very minimal. Seven clicks to delete five tracks versus five swipes.
LMS 8 nightly running on Raspberry Pi OS. Mostly virtual players, occasionally with SB Radio, Boom or Classic.

Wow, really didn't know about that. I'm quite new to Material and I like it a lot already. That should do it for sure. Thanks so much for sharing.

I was thinking of buying a pi with a touchscreen, installing some lightweight OS + chrome browser and then (hopefully) making the OS read-only so I can just pull the plug any time I want without any consequences (much like PCP in that respect). That would be nice.

I highly recommend you consider piCorePlayer, a very lightweight Linux OS dedicated to making it easy to install the Squeezelite virtual player and/or LMS on a PI. I'm totally unfamiliar with the options for using it with a display, but I know there are options. A web browser may or may not be one of those options. You can find out a lot more at https://www.picoreplayer.org and in appropriate threads in the Linux forum here. The most recent release thread is the one announcing version 6.0.0. I think you'll find that many have done what you plan and will be able to offer advice. I only use pCP as a player, so there's not much more I can say, and it doesn't need to be said in the Material thread anyway!

This is almost certainly not a Material problem, but it's a problem that seems to occur only in Material, so I hope you can offer some suggestions about what the issue might be. Using the Qobuz plugin, I click (desktop) or tap (mobile) on the Search option in the top-level menu, and absolutely nothing happens. Following your json debugging instructions, I see nothing appearing in the console messages after clicking. The search works in the default and classic skins.

This could be, and probably is, a material issue. As I don't use any streaming services, I cannot recreate myself as is. What I need from you is the JSON debug from when that menu was created - i.e. Go out of Qobuz, and get the debug when you click on Qobuz (assuming this then shows the list with the menu). I can then hack this response into my instance, and see what is happening.

Just noticed I have the same issue since the upgrade to Material 2.0. (it works on the homepage search, which is what I normally use).
In the Qobuz menu it also works when in Grid view, since that opens a search prompt, but not in list view.

Attached below the code when I navigate from home (Qobuz is pinned) to the Qobuz menu, which has the non-functioning search on top.

    Code:
[10:13:28] JSON RESP: {"method":"slim.request","id":1,"result":{"count":10,"offset":0,"window":{"windowStyle":"home_menu"},"base":{"actions":{"add-hold":{"player":0,"cmd":["qobuz","playlist","insert"],"params":{"menu":"qobuz"},"itemsParams":"params"},"more":{"itemsParams":"params","window":{"isContextMenu":1},"params":{"menu":"qobuz"},"cmd":["qobuz","items"],"player":0},"go":{"cmd":["qobuz","items"],"params":{"menu":"qobuz"},"itemsParams":"params"},"play":{"nextWindow":"nowPlaying","itemsParams":"params","params":{"menu":"qobuz"},"player":0,"cmd":["qobuz","playlist","play"]},"playControl":{"params":{"_quantity":"25000","_index":"0","menu":"qobuz"},"player":0,"cmd":["qobuz","items"],"itemsParams":"playControlParams","window":{"isContextMenu":1}},"add":{"itemsParams":"params","params":{"menu":"qobuz"},"cmd":["qobuz","playlist","add"],"player":0}}},"item_loop":[{"actions":{"go":{"cmd":["qobuz","items"],"params":{"menu":"qobuz","search":"__TAGGEDINPUT__","item_id":"0","cachesearch":1}}},"input":{"softbutton2":"Delete","title":"Search","help":{"text":"Use the scroll wheel to change letters, then press the center button to select that letter.
