Perhaps I botched the translation somehow. Do you see this with Material's English version?

    How can I switch this?

I tested now a few other browsers on iOS: Chrome, Firefox and iCabMobile. But there it is not happening.

When I am playing Radio I have this:
    Name: IMG_EE6A0F407044-1.jpeg
Views: 180
Size: 192.5 KB

It is regardless if I have an adblocker active or not.

I also tested it now on two Android tablets where it did not happen and with two different iPads in desktop and mobile view where it also not happens.
On my iPhone it happens in desktop, mobile and automatic mode and also as a webapp in all three modes.
I found two other places for these lines:
    Name: webapp.png
Views: 174
Size: 26.3 KB
    Name: webapp2.png
Views: 178
Size: 156.5 KB

Also you can see there that as a webapp you have the black bar from iPhone >10 on the middle text.

Now I tested it also on an iPhone 7plus and it did not happen there.
I deleted the cache on Safari in my iPhone 11 and the error is still there.

That's odd, because (AFAIK) there is only 1 HTML/web rendering engine on iOS - WebKit. All iOS browsers are just wrappers for this - so an error in one, should be the same in all. Firefox on Android (and elsewhere) has its own engine, most other Android browsers use chromium.

Does the black bar always obscure the middle tab? I've tried Android's gesture navigation, and the bar at the bottom fades out.

Also, what about the 'ears' at the top of phone - does material blend into there too? If so does that mean that the info in the middle is obscured by the cut-out?

Yes, it is always there, also the edges are round which you don't see here, I will post a photo of it.
You can also see it on the first screenshot where I used Safari alone and not a webapp. You see that the below buttons in Safari (and also other apps) are a little bit higher.

Wow! What a pants design! I'll have to see if I can add a work-around for this. However, I'm not sure if I can detect an iOS device without a home button... So, might just add a "bottompad" url query parameter. e.g. "http:// SERVER:9000/material/?bottompad=16" Bit of hack, but not sure what else can be done.

There is an "official" way to deal with the home indicator (and the notch etc), not sure whether it will make sense for Material or not though:

Thanks. Not having an iPhone its hard to test, but I have made some changes based on the above. No idea if it works, so would someone mind testing? If so, just unzip the following over your current Material install, and then restart LMS

    lms-material-test.zip

...LMS will state there is an update of Material - it wants to replace this test version with the released version - just ignore for now. Might also need to clear your browser's cache.

I don't _think_ it is working, I see no change in behaviour.

I don't know if I have a caching issue or not though, Safari is definitely seeing the new code (as when I load the stylesheet I see the new env()).

But I'm not sure if the web app version does any different caching or not, and that is the only view of it where the inset stuff applies.

    It isn't a cache problem.

I've done a bit of remote debugging from Safari on the Mac to Safari on the iPhone.

It looks like you need to do more work on the positioning of the div within the footer, to move it upwards based on some of the inset calcs.

For example if I manually apply "bottom: 73px !important;" to that div the toolbar buttons are clear of the home indicator.
