    Favorites in UE

    Greetings!

Just jointed the forums with a question.

I have a UE smart radio with IPeng remote on my iPhone. While I can view the favorites on my iPhone app I do not know how to view these on the web on my PC. I have logged in to the UEsamrtradio.com website but do not see a path to the favorites. I am also interested in searching for radio stations by name or genre and add them to the favorite list.

Any helpful suggestions will be much appreciated.

Many features got ripped out when the SB was re-designed to become the
"easier" UE SmartRadio... All these "advanced" features were moved to
the mobile app only. And we know what happened to it...

I'm sure favorites can somehow be managed with iPeng?

As uesr is based on mysb there's still the web control - but it's not
linked for aforementioned reasons. So here it is:

    https://www.uesmartradio.com/player/playerControl

At least this allows you to play favorites etc. from the web.

Editing Favorites is a bit limited in iPeng ue compared to iPeng 9 because UESmartRAdio.com doesn't allow the same level of management as Logitech Media Server does but you can add and delete Favorites.

To add an item as a Favorite, go to the context menu (for that item) by "hold"ing it and select "Add to Favorites".

To delete a Favorites do the same to the entry in the "Favorites" menu.

Many thanks, Michael. Your solution worked like a champ! I can see the favorites from the web now. I still need to play with it to figure out if I can add new stations to my favorites.

Thanks Pippin (Is that the name you go by?).

I am comfortable with using the iPeng. It works very well for adding or deleting favorites. I was primarily confused about getting the same feature from web but Michael provided a very good solution for that.

I wonder if it makes sense to roll back to Squeezebox since I get the impression that it is more rich in features compared to the UE smart radio.

    Thanks

Yes, you'd need to get the other iPeng app then, though (iPeng 9) because the two are not compatible.
