    DSD support in SOX

The newly updated version of SOX apparently does not support DSD. There is a version of SOX which does.
    https://github.com/mansr
Could this be included in LMS?

    +1.
    2nd your request.

It should be possible to provide it at least as an additional option.

That is the source we are using. likely because we are using the "released" 14.4.2 version of sox from his site.

This maintained version of sox has also other advantages, e.g. the commits since April 16th have added MP3 encoding support -> so LAME will be obsolete.

If you're running LMS on piCorePlayer 4.0 there's a tcz install package available.

    See this thread for details.

sox-armhf working fine on Synology DS216Play.

Looking at the CPU usage tells me it is likely not using the GPU hard floating, when transcoding to PCM, but apart from that all fine.
Tried some dsf, plus 24/96 kHz flac and mp3.

Sox DSD support is available in LMS 7.9.2 builds after September 11, 2018 for windows, macos and linux arm, armhf, i386 and x86_64 platforms.

For other systems you can build from source.
