    Hello, wanted to check in and see if thereĺs been any resolution to expanding the file partition on a 64gb card and above before I breakdown and spend $8.99 on a 32go .

    I believe so, but that fix wont be out there till the next release. You can do it manually......

    Bug report and feature request

    Bug:

    It appears that if you do not set an "When Off" screensaver before the first reboot after installing jivelite there is no option for a "When Off" screensaver subsequently

    This seems to be an bug that has been around for a while, I have noticed this with many previous versions of pCP although I get around it be editing "/home/tc/.jivelite/userpath/settings/ScreenSavers.lua"
    This correct the actual problem but does not restore the "When Off" selection in the screensaver menu on JL

    Feature request:

    If the DHCP server offers a NTP server set that as the NTP source, if no DHCP offer then use the defualt pool.

    This maybe of use rarely but seems sensible, on my (and some other) networks port 123 is blocked by defualt and the NTP server must be set manually to one on the network.

    Another Bug report

    Hi Guys

    I cannot find this bug already reported (I have searched) though it seems hard to miss.

    When using wifi hostname cannot be changed from "picoreplayer"

    Have booted with wifi clean (with the wifi supplicant file in /) and changed hostname via GUI to "RPI3B"

    When connected via wifi hostname is still "picoreplayer" however when ethernet is plugged in the hostname is RPI3B.

    The same is true if initial setup is done via eth.

    Output from my DHCP server log :-

    "wifi MAC" and "eth MAC" are different and unique on my network

    Code:
    tc@RPi3B:~$ cat /etc/hostname
    RPi3B
    tc@RPi3B:~$
    Have tried on both RPi 3B and RPi 3B+

    Thanks to all the devs for your continuing work !

    No network found by pcp_startup.sh

    Fresh install on a Raspberry Pi 3 Model B+. Its connected to the network via ethernet and I have DD-WRT give the player a static lease. When I get to this part of pcp_startup.sh:

    # Start the essential stuff for piCorePlayer.
    echo -n "${YELLOW}Waiting for network."
    CNT=1
    until ifconfig | grep -q Bcast
    do
    if [ $((CNT++)) -gt 50 ]; then
    echo -n "${RED} No network found!${NORMAL}"
    break
    else
    echo -n "."
    sleep 0.5
    fi
    done
    echo "${GREEN} Done ($CNT).${NORMAL}"

    I get "No network found" returned. Once startup finishes and jivelite starts, I can then select the players icon, then select the player name piCorePlayer (sometimes piCorePlayer is listed twice, one with the MAC address and the other with no MAC address populated, just zeros.) After that, the player connects to the network and LMS and then operates in a normal fashion. Everything looks normal when I run ifconfig. Any suggestions as to why network is not found in startup? Thanks.

    hi mrfreeze1320,

    Increase 50 in the following line to 100 or 150 or more to determine if it is just a slow network.

    Code:
    if [ $((CNT++)) -gt 50 ]; then
    50 represents 25 seconds.

    regards
    Greg

    hi Jeff07971,

    FYI. Setting the hostname is a little bit convoluted.

    1. piCore sets a default hostname to box.
    2. piCorePlayer sets a default hostname to piCorePlayer.
    3. We then set the hostname via a bootcode. (Well I thought we did. )

    regards
    Greg

    It weird though that /etc/hostname is set correctly

    Initially I thought it was me using a long hostname but this turned out not to be the case

    Hi Greg. Thanks for the help. What file should I edit for this? When I edit pcp_startup.sh from 50 to 150 or 200, the file is changed back to 50 when I restart. Thanks!
