I've just updated the latest nightly version of LMS 7.9.2 and after that everything was broken.

So I had to replace the sox.exe again and to reinstall C-3PO plugin - only after that DSD to PCM started to work again.

I think I'm right in saying that piCorePlayer appears to run NTP only on boot.

I had a problem recently with LMS and the BBCiPlayer not listing programmes, which appeared to be down to the time on my Pi drifting off after a long uptime.

Would it be possible to enable NTP time synchronisation in piCorePlayer? If this is not considered a universally desirable configuration, then it could perhaps be offered as an option in Tweaks?

    Make LMS stop persist

I have LMS (latest v7.9.2 nightly) and Squeezelite running on an rpi3B, piCorePlayer v4.0.0.

I want to stop LMS running and prevent it from running on reboot.

I go to the LMS page, click on stop.

When it stops I set Autostart to NO.

There is no save button, so I go to the Main page and click on Backup and then Reboot.

On reboot both LMS and Squeezelite are running.

If I repeat the procedure with a Terminal window open

    Code:
    sudo /usr/local/etc/init.d/slimserver stop
    Code:
     pcp br
then both Squeezelite and LMS restart.

Is it possible to just stop LMS starting until I want it to?

In Raspbian Stretch I just type

    Code:
    sudo service logitechmediasserver stop
and it persists until I issue the start cmd line.

Any help is much appreciated; abuse also . I've got a thick skin

Press the button to the left of the Autostart radio buttons to save your settings.

    3b+ wifi

    Hi
I have strange problem with pi 3b+ +pcp 4. After wifi setup it is works fine, pcp wifi receive own ip, router see pcp. Looks like everything is fine. But after I pull out network cable I m unable to see pcp web and airplay. But router still see pcp. Have tried rt and standard kernel, and 2 different routers. With moode 4.3 same setup works without any problem.

    hi northernwind,

Did you reboot pCP without ethernet cable connected?

Note that your IP address will change.

    regards

I think I rebooted before. Btw I changed sequence. Setup wifi-shutdown-remove cable-power up pcp. And... it works. Thx Greg for answer.

    dnsmasq install error

    Hi
I'm trying to install dnsmasq but get the following error:
    + dnsmasq.tcz 147456, 0.14 MB
    ipv6-4.9.10-piCore.tcz Error, not found

There is another version available - ipv6-4.9.22-piCore.tcz.

On to the next question. I presume once I can install via the GUI it will automatically be persistent.
Then I just need to figure out how to save the dnsmasq.conf. Is adding it to Ĺ/opt/.filetool.lst enough?

Pretty new to picore / tinycore outside the GUI
