    piCoerePlayer: Run `sudo hdparm ...` in `User Command`

    Hi

    I want to run the commands

    ```
    sudo /home/tc/hdparm -B 127 /dev/sdb
    sudo /home/tc/hdparm -S 240 /dev/sda
    ```

    from the Custom Command fields in the Tweaks tab.

    How can I run these two sudo commands from there? I entered them without sudo (assuming that they would be run by root anyway) but it does not seem the case.

    Any help?

    Thanks,

    Rainer

    yes, the user commands on the tweaks page run with root permissions. Do not use sudo there.

    Where did you get hdparm from? Did I send you a copy? Have you tested the commands from an ssh session?
