I don’t suppose anyone wants to tweak the Deezer app to support FLAC? The IckStream app hasn’t been updated in 2 years and the navigation there versus the Deezer app is really wonky... not to mention none of the radio stations nor does artist radio work. I just thought that since the Tidal app works with FLAC that the Deezer app would be able to as well.

The official Deezer app only gives me '320k CBR MP3 (Deezer)' with a Deezer HIFI account. The ickstream Deezer gives me '0' but shows flac under the song info tab.Comment

While we do have access to some premium features there, HiRes playback
is not part of it.

I am pretty sure Deezer has not released the api's / documentation to allow Deezer HiFi support under LMS plugin based on my constant status update on Deezer's community site but I am hoping that there is some work being done in the background to add HiFi support under LMS.Comment

Their forum moderators/employees keep saying vote for the feature and they will pass it along (no word yet on where it stands in the queue of feature request) and their developer support says the api is not available but will not even acknowledge if they plan to make it available.
I have basically given up on Deezer.Comment

They can't change that from their end - unless they provide their very
own full re-write of a Deezer plugin for LMS.

No answer yet, but new findings in the responses from the Deezer API. I
just played a first FLAC track from Deezer. Now the real work to provide
Deezer HiFi begins :-). (I can't guarantee a Christmas present!)
