Cannot Connect to mysqueezebox.com from Squeezebox Radio

Yes you are quite correct, it is ‘not connected’. My firewall section says Normal and that’s it. I have no idea where to find Ports or what to do to ‘open’ them or what numbers to open, 9000 from memory, but not sure why I know that.
Maybe it’s all too hard, but as you say at least I am enjoying it again.

Just for your information, my ISP's router has three settings under 'Firewall Features', which I found under 'WAN Network Configuration', Services:

High, which allows DNS 53, HTTP 80, HTTP-S 443, IMAP-S 993, IPSec NAT-T 4500, NTP 123, POP3-S 995, SSH 22, SMTP 25, SMTP-S 465, Port for stb 8184, VoWIFI 500, 4500.

Medium, which allows AIM/ICQ 5190, DHCPv6 546, DNS 53, FTP-S 989, 990, HTTP 80, HTTP ALT 8080, HTTP-S 443, IMAP 143, IMAP-S 993, IPSec NAT-T 4500, NTP 123, POP3 110, POP3-S 995, RADIUS 1812, SMTP 25, SSH 22, SMTP-S 465, Steam 1725, Steam Friends 1200, Telnet-S 992, XBOX Live 3074 3074, World of Warcraft 3724, Yahoo Messenger 5050, Port for stb 8184, VoWIFI 500, 4500

Low, which allows all ports.

In my case, it is only the latter (Low) that makes the SB Radio connection to mysqueezebox.com work.

This may look somewhat technical but I am sharing it on the forum for other users that may want to dig deeper into the subject

I have been using my squeezebox for years without any issues, but for the last 6+ months, I have had intermittent problems with my squeezebox. The main issue is that I can't connect to mysqeezebox.com.
I have done a factory reset and restarted the router, but that didn’t fix anything.

I am able to log into the website mysqeezebox.com from a computer on the same network as the squeezebox. After logging into the website, I click on the Player, and it shows "Oops! You don't appear to have any players registered to this account."

As a potential workaround, I installed Logitech Media server on my home PC and then tried to connect the squeezebox to the LMS, but when I do that, I get an error message on the squeezebox saying "player is already registered to another user"

I only used mysqueezebox.com once when I initially bought the player to setup Pandora, but its been 5+ years since i logged in. I haven't used the website up untill a few weeks ago when I decided to try to fix the issue. I don't remember if it showed up there before since it been 5+ years since I last logged in.. I just PM'd you.

Are you sure this is the mail you used back in the day? The device
currently is registered to a yahoo.com address. And it's Pandora
configuration comes with another mail address - which is the same as the
Pandora configuration in the account you PMed me. But no two other of
those mail addresses are alike....

Seems as though my Squeezebox Radio is having the same issue that I have read in many places. Everything else works and it connects to Mysqueezebox.com just fine. Pandora does not play. It will look like it does but no sound. Can control and change all stations, no sound.

Is there something magical that Michael can do if I post my MAC? Is it safe to post? I cannot see where you can send PM's with this forum? Am I missing something?

Please post details about what you're trying to do, what you're seeing
etc. to some Pandora specific thread. This one reads "can not connect to
mysb" - which you just confirmed did work for you...

my boom has problems connecting to mysqueezebox.com for the past couple of weeks (or months). sometimes it will connect and play music for a few minutes, but then disconnects and is unable to connect again. it also doesn't appear in the remote control when disconnected.
I've tried resetting it and reconnecting to the wifi network, no difference.

I bought a second hand Squeezebox Touch off the internet and when running the initial setup wizard it can't connect to mysqueezebox.com
Any idea what could be the reason?
