The display stay dimmed when Boom managed through the portal Player Control

What is default behaviour (or display mode) of Boom display when Boom is controlled through the MySB.com portal Player Control application?
I noticed that when controlling Boom from portal Player Control page, the display stay dimmed, completely dark, so I can't see the track name and other info.
Pressing any keys on remote seems have no effect, display stay dark. What is the default behaviour?

P.S. I use not original power supply 12V/1A, the original 12V/2,5A PSU is missing.

MySB.com > Players > Boom > Display tab, all the display brightness options are there, don't forget to save changes.

yes, I checked that menu. Mine brightness all have 6 (automatic). When Boom controlled from portal the display is idle by default?

I want replace power supply, here I have two options: purchase original Phihong 12V/2.5A PSU or another PSU 12V/3A with a higher output current rate (3A), which have also better specification (SWM30-12-EV-P5). Would be better use power supply with a higher output current rate (3A)?
