    [Announce] Band's Campout 1.7

v1.7.0 is out with the following new features:

    • acces to all weeklies, back to 2013
    • access to all tracks of items you've bought (see note below)
    • access to your Music Feed (see note below)

And here's the big NOTE: if you want to take advantage of the latter two features, you'll have to tinker a bit. Because that stuff is only available if you're logged in to bandcamp.com, but they don't provide an API to do so, you'll have to copy your "identity" cookie to the plugin's settings.

    • head over to https://developers.google.com/web/to...e-data/cookies to learn how to poke around your cookies
    • open https://bandcamp.com in Chrome (or your browser of choice)
    • open the Developer Tools from the browser's menu
    • find the "identity" cookie following the instructions you've found at Google's
    • open Settings/Advanced/Band's Campout in LMS
    • paste the cookie's value in the identity token field

    Good luck!

Please note that this is only necessary for aforementioned two features. More might follow.

Music Feed not working on Classic Interface

    Michael
I realize I am probably in a minority of users who like the Classic Interface but there is not much else to choose from other than Default. Both the Biography plugin and Music Feed feature of Bandcampout 1.71 plugin are not working properly in Classic Interface(but do in Default mode). Is this likely to be fixed in the future?
And by the way thanks for the update on BandCampout

I just tested this, and I believe when you say 'not working' you mean that you cannot click on a listing and have it play, etc.?? Or is there something else you're seeing?

I don't use the web interface much any more (Default or Classic), preferring to use either of the 2 awesome device apps - iPeng or Squeeze Ctrl (Angry Goat Software).

I can confirm another oddity - clicking on the currently playing track (right-side) to display the details of the track playing, neither of the Bandcamp links work, the important one being the 'album' link (though clicking on artist might also be nice to see their entire catalog).

Spotify links are clickable, but I'm not seeing anything happen - I'm not a Spotify/Spotty user though, so not sure what's supposed to happen within the app.

    These don't work

This is clickable and opens a BandCamp web page to the Album:

Yes the Music feed displays tracks. If I select one it shows on the Now Playing screen(second on left list A Lark) but no music. All the features on the Now Playing screen are missing (see screenshot)(skip, play, pause, volume levels etc)

Oh, this might be a problem with the "textarea" type items. I'm not sure
I ever implemented that for Classic. I can look into this. No promises!

As you got the Music Feed I must assume you managed to do the cookie
thing? I wonder how long living they are... I've been using mine for
    close to two weeks now.

Could you please check your server.log to see whether you'd get any
    additional information there?

Yeah, the album name handling... I've been using it to show the album's
download page link as a reminder that that stuff should be bought. Do
you have albums you bought? I think in that case it should behave
differently. But I'll have to double-check, as the album code has
changed considerably in this version of the plugin.
