That seems to be a common problem. Maybe send a private message to @mherger . If you can't send one yet make a few more posts in this thread until you are allowed to.

The problem usually arises when you didn't confirm your email after the
registartion (which was the case for you, too). Please try again - I
activated your account.

Did you double try again after I responded? And double checked your junk
folder? There are dozens if not hundreds of such mails being sent out
every day. It's not fundamentally broken, but prone to being caught in
spam filters...

Michael, I can imagine how frustrating it must be to receive emails similar to mine on a daily basis. Conclusion: the password reset mechanism does not work. Help only by people like you is the only hope for all those who ask for it every day.
I checked my inbox many times: spam, garbage. I have not received any message with the password. I'm still suspended at my starting point.
