piCorePlayer DSD playback

Sorry if the question has already been asked but I just installed the DSD plugin for PCP (for my Rpi3).
I can now play the files however it seems it it converting them into lower rate file (PCM 176.4K).
Is it normal I can't get the full sample rate?

Problem partially solved
I ticked the option DSD over PCM and it worked.
However, it seems to convert DSD 128k, 256K into DSD 64K
And it's still converting Quad DSD into PCM.
Any idea @mherger @paul- ?

I don't have and DSD capable devices, or dsd content.

But what do you have for the -D option on the squeezelite page.
