    What OS ?
    Only upgraded LMS.
    It's a small laptop that l use for running LMS only.
    OS is Win7

    As you're new - a bit of advice. You've made two post on the same topic but to threads which are old and not related to your problem (e.g. this thread is for a QNAP system). To get the "right" people to see your problem - it might have been better to post on a new thread with some system details would probably be read by more users.

    The error is usually associated with a problem in transcoding either a setting has changed or a transcoding support application is blocked by Windows security.

    To help find the problem details are needed

    * what sort of player are you using ?
    * Are any of the settings for "WAV" under WebUI/Setting/Advanced/Filetypes disabled ? - they should be Flac -> "flac/sox" MP3 -> "lame" and PCM -> "native"
