Newbie Ubuntu 16.04 and LMS 7.9.1 experience and help. LMS not completing install?

Hello everyone, I decided that Ubuntu 16.04 and LMS 7.9.1 would be a great vase to build from but I cannot get LMS to install ?

All I have done is do a fresh install of 16.04 and then tried to do fresh install of LMS immediately. But the Install doesn't get as far as starting Logitechmediaserver?

Am I missing some libraries or doing something stupid?

    Thans for any help

Did you check all the steps described in the wiki?

This is what happens on the install

    brodan@brodan-ThinkPad-X200:~$ sudo dpkg -i /home/brodan/sources/logitechmediaserver_7.9.1~1512734075_amd64.deb
    Selecting previously unselected package logitechmediaserver.
(Reading database ... 211105 files and directories currently installed.)
    Preparing to unpack .../logitechmediaserver_7.9.1~1512734075_amd64.deb ...
    Unpacking logitechmediaserver (7.9.1~1512734075) ...
    Setting up logitechmediaserver (7.9.1~1512734075) ...
    Adding system user `squeezeboxserver' (UID 121) ...
Adding new user `squeezeboxserver' (UID 121) with group `nogroup' ...
    Not creating home directory `/usr/share/squeezeboxserver'.
Processing triggers for systemd (229-4ubuntu21) ...
Processing triggers for ureadahead (0.100.0-19) ...

ureadahead will be reprofiled on next reboot
    brodan@brodan-ThinkPad-X200:~$

I don't get as far as this step because the process didn't start ? -

To run Logitechmediaserver in Debian / Ubuntu:

Logitechmediaserver is started automatically by the installation script and every time you boot.
If you want to start/stop Logitechmediaserver manually you can run:
    sudo service logitechmediaserver start
    and
    sudo service logitechmediaserver stop

The install only gets this far

    brodan@brodan-ThinkPad-X200:~$ sudo dpkg -i /home/brodan/sources/logitechmediaserver_7.9.1~1512734075_amd64.deb
    Selecting previously unselected package logitechmediaserver.

    Unpacking logitechmediaserver (7.9.1~1512734075) ...
    Setting up logitechmediaserver (7.9.1~1512734075) ...
    Adding system user `squeezeboxserver' (UID 121) ...
Adding new user `squeezeboxserver' (UID 121) with group `nogroup' ...
    Not creating home directory `/usr/share/squeezeboxserver'.
Processing triggers for systemd (229-4ubuntu21) ...
Processing triggers for ureadahead (0.100.0-19) ...
ureadahead will be reprofiled on next reboot
    brodan@brodan-ThinkPad-X200:~$

This looks ok. After installation you have to configure LMS via the web interface via localhost:9000 in your browser.
If this is not working you can reboot your system or use the manual command: sudo service logitechmediaserverstart and try again.

Thanks everyone and for confirming the install looked ok.

I booted up this am and noticed a lot(more) of activity on startup. Tried to find local host again and all burst into life!!!
My assumption is that the install completion was in a queue of updates??? as the system was a new install.

Next step it to automatically mount my WDmycloud NAS and have Logitec scan it. Any threads on this in the forum?
