New Porch. Can I leave my boom outside? It won't actually get wet, but concerned about humidity/condensation etc. Thoughts, experiences, warnings, affirmations appreciated.

Seem to recall it is not suited to long sun exposure, but if it is shaded on the porch shouldn't be a problemLogitech Media Server Version: 9.0.0 - 1711180501 @ Sun 24 Mar 2024 02:44:46 AM CET

I agree, don't leave it in the sun as UV light is the main suspect (at least mine) for causing panel surface degradation and stickyness. The electronics heat themselves up pretty well even in standby so I wouldn't consider moisture a big concern in that area. Keep in mind though that the bass woofer membranes are basically stiff paper with a bit of coating. I would not assume they are too fond of moisture. Certainly advisable to check them once in a while.
And I don't need to mention what the user's manual says - or doesn't say - about outdoor use, right?sigpic
