Sorry for the ignorance - but this is only for ARM based devices? Not 216+ (Intel based) for instance?

Hi all,
There is also a package available in the repo for intel (x86_64). You should see it listed in the package center when the repo is added.
Just make sure before installing LmsRepack to stop any other instance of LMS!
LmsRepack probably will start and run normally. But I'm not sure if there are side effects. If it installs, check some functions like scanning and playing files, start and stop lmsrepack, and check the server load and server logs.
Please post your findings here.
Greetings,
Martin

Thanks Martin - can't seem to add the repo. Is the server down?

It was, but just for a reboot. Make sure to add the link exactly as it is described in the first post. So don't forget the forward slash at the end.
Check if you can acces the website with the same url.
(I know this repo has some bugs, and I'm still looking for a better option.)Last edited by pinkdot; 2017-03-31 at 03:42.

I have a DS214play, guess that's not an ARM cpu.
Will you also update LmsUpdate to 7.9.1 ?

No, it is Evansport, i686. For now, LmsUpate will stick to 7.9.0. It will keep following Synology updates.
So: when Synology is updating to 7.9.1, LmsUpdate will be updated to 7.9.1 and gets the additional updates from here.
As with the intel based nas, I can't test other architectures. This is why I started LmsRepack with only ARM.

Martin
