    Thanks a lot

    With build 0.92.0 the LMS 7.9.1-168 runs on my Synology DS918play (DSM 6.2-23739) as it should.
    Thanks a lot for the new build that fixed the problem, LMS could't start the ShairTunes2 plugin.

    My wife will either leave me or kill me if I don't repair shairtunes. Philippe you're my only hope
    As the problem should be solved now, your wife should let you live.

    Why don't you install the latest LMS 7.9.1 on your Syno?

    Works for me, too - the last couple of versions were broken - thanks philippe_44!

    404 not found

    Hello,

    Since few week and before the last upgrade, I can't go to the configuration of the plugin (I have the message 404 Not Found: plugins/Extensions/settings/plugins/ShairTunes2W/settings/basic.html)

    I tried to uninstall and install again and I had the same problem. Nothing in the log.
    Also, the airplay devices isn't available anymore on apple device.

    Thanks

    It's strange, it worked before update

    Libeay3.dll error upon loading ShairTune2 on Win 7

    (please let me know if I should open a new thread for this, I am assuming Philippe created this thread for PC Window issues).
    I just upgraded to LMS 7.6.6 on Window 7 32bit system. When I load the latest v0.92.1 of ShairTune2 fork, I keep getting Libeay32.dll error (however the plugin loads ). When I disable the Flac option from the advanced, everything works fine ( except for the initial error message when I restart LMS). With the FLac option on, obviously it does not work, since flac is looking for that .dll file. I noticed that file already exists in the bin directory ( I upgraded it to another file) but that did not help the problem.
    Any help how to get rid of the error is appreciated! This is a long thread, and I noticed Philippe addressed it early on (Merci!), by recompiling the Flac, but I did not see it addressed later in the thread, so must be related to my system.

    I installed by enabling the shairtunes2 fork plugin from the respository (in the plugins tab), I am assuming for window installation, the helper is integrated in the plugin. The good news is that I did not have any Firewall issues, window detected the helper and ask me to add a filter for it. The only issue I need help with please is the Libeay3.dll, is this something I need to do in the path variable, or does v0.92.1 have an issue with Windows. Any help pointing me in the right direction is appreciated. I would be happy to load earlier releases of both LMS and Shairtunes.

    As as side note I have Wamp running on the same PC, this is basically an apache server, it has perl and the same library loaded and works well. I also have Anaconda and it also has the same library and it works well.

    >>> Update:
    I ended up upgrading to Win10 (for other reasons). My findings is that the Libeay3.dll error goes away. The plugin loads without error. However in the Flac mode, the sound does not come out ( you do see the airplay port), and you can connect to it, but the stream does not play. Once you disable the FLAC in the advanced tab, the app works well! Philippe if you decide to do an update for the Flac, please announce it or reply to this post.

    Players constantly being terminated and created

    Hi philippe_44

    My server.log is flooded with messages of airplay players being constantly terminated and created. This happens every minute or so:

    Code:
    [18-08-29 08:24:34.0403] Plugins::ShairTunes2W::Plugin::removePlayer (383) publisher for piCorePlayer PID Proc::Background=HASH(0x6c90e88) will be terminated.
    [18-08-29 08:24:34.5501] Plugins::ShairTunes2W::Plugin::publishPlayer (464) avahi-publish-player not in path
    [18-08-29 08:24:34.5508] Plugins::ShairTunes2W::Plugin::publishPlayer (473) dns-sd not in path
    [18-08-29 08:24:34.5513] Plugins::ShairTunes2W::Plugin::publishPlayer (482) mDNSPublish not in path
    [18-08-29 08:24:34.5517] Plugins::ShairTunes2W::Plugin::publishPlayer (484) using built-in helper: /usr/local/slimserver/Cache/InstalledPlugins/Plugins/ShairTunes2W/Bin/shairport_helper-armv6hf
    [18-08-29 08:24:34.5605] Plugins::ShairTunes2W::Plugin::addPlayer (372) create client Slim::Player::SqueezePlay=ARRAY(0x59598a8) with proc Proc::Background=HASH(0x679f720)
    Airplay playback stops regularly. And I'm having issues with synced players when playing radio. Around every 30 seconds the radio streams restarts. I assume that both issues are due to the constant termination and recreation of airplay players.

    Any ideas how to pin down the problem?

    My setup is picoreplayer on Raspberry Pi with mixed players - Raspberry Pi and original Logitech devices.

    This happens because LMS itself disconnect and reconnects constantly the players. Here Shairtunes just received the message from LMS, there is nothing initiated by me. So it means an underlying network issue or a sever connectivity problem

    [edit]: maybe I can set a timer to terminate the shairtunes instance only 10s after the player disappeared, but Iím not sure it does not hav e other side effects and it probably does not really solve the problem as buffering might remain an issue, but Iíll look into it

    In post 1 you state:

    Some Debian Stretch distributions (e.g. Raspian) only provide openssl1.0.2, but 1.0.0 is needed. For armv7 (Pi 2 and above) download the version for Jessie here or using wget http://security.debian.org/debian-se...b8u8_armhf.deb then install it with sudo dpkg -i libssl1.0.0_1.0.1t-1+deb8u7_armhf.deb. For an armv6 (Pi A and Zero), use this one here

    But the sudo dpkg command refers to deb8u7_armhf.deb .... not deb8u8_armhf.deb

    Confused ....
