Now if we want to listen to youtube on LMS, we can either open an already created playlist or play a single song, or open the search results of a single song or artist as a playlist. But there is no option for songs to "autoplay" without a preordered playlist and letting youtube decide what song comes up next, I think.

So a workaround that I was thinking about would be to open youtube.com on an android device's browser and let it autoplay from whatever song that was last searched for. But I didn't find a way to forward the video ID from the youtube.com webpage to LMS by generating links like in rwanou's example. I know that this could need more work than it's worth it, but got curious anyway if that could be achieved.

My main usecase for this would be at the gatherings of my friends. Since my music library is not much suitable for parties and I'm too lazy to create party playlists, so before I changed from a usb DAC to a DLNA one, I would just use the laptop for youtube, so anyone could search for their favourite songs, and music that is related to the last search would just keep on playing. But now with the DLNA device, there is no need for me to boot up the computer when I want to listen to music, or to keep the computer in the room where I listen to the music. But for the youtube usage that I described I still haven't found a way, other than bringing back the computer and the USB DAC.

I know I could easily use spotify for that, but probably that would require subscription and I don't want to spend money on stuff I would use only occasionally.
Perhaps a YouTube mixer for "Don't Stop the Music" could be ceated for this? If this new plugin could detect the current song is from YouTube, then perhaps it could query YouTube for the related tracks and add those...

I know that this PLugin worked for me in the past, but I haven't used it a while. I returned to it over the last few weeks and it just doesn't respond to menu choices or URL pastes.

    What have I broken?

    LMS v7.9.2
    Youtube v 0.93.0

I deleted and rebult a new API key. Here's my current Log Snippet - there's a 403 error there.

Try to delete the whole project. I had that issue that was only solved by doing this

Wow! I just did a dist-upgrade of my servers totally outdated Ubuntu 14.04 LTS to 16.06 LTS and a lot of my heavily customized stuff worked out of the box plus: LMS AND the Youtube Plugin AND Playing Music from Youtube!!!

The old sayin: "Have you tried to re-install everything..." ;-)

I can't seem to use the search feature on Youtube plugin. It was working earlier this morning but not now 2 hours later. I tried deleting and then creating a new set of Youtube credentials on Google Console Credentials but no luck. The plugin will play "recently Played" and I can play Youtube tracks I have saved in my Favorites

EDIT: there was an update on my system in between that I think MAI, may not be related

EDIT: Not sure what changed but on second reboot of PC everything works fine now
