    That's a misunderstanding. I'm not looking for DPL as a DSTM mixer. I need DSTM to not hiijack active DPL mixes.

    Can you say what class and property name to look for? When does
    DynamicPlaylist kick in? How do they conflict? I'm surprised this only
    comes up now, as DSTM has been out for quite a while already.
    Not sure this handles all cases, but Dynamic Playlist sets a client property when is starts a playlist:
    https://github.com/erland/lms-dynami...Plugin.pm#L649

    And removes the same property when it stops:
    https://github.com/erland/lms-dynami...Plugin.pm#L690

    $prefs is initiated here:
    https://github.com/erland/lms-dynami.../Plugin.pm#L51

    I think looking for the playlist property should work in most cases. Iĺm not sure the property is removed if someone disconnect the power cable but except for that I suspect itĺs a fairly reliable way to detect if a dynamic playlist is running. Please keep in mind that I wrote this code a long time ago and might have interpreted it incorrect when looking at it now, so someone should verify that it works if you implement this.

    Thanks for the explanation. Sorry for the irrelevant intrusion.

    "Don't stop the Music" stopped

    Hi!

    I love "Don't stop the Music"! Unfortunately, it stopped working sometime in the last days (LastMix local only).

    I am running Logitech Media Server Version: 7.9.4 - 1603273368 and haven't changed anything recently. Just updated the MaterialSkin plugin. Could this be the cause?

    The "Logitech Media Server Log File" (via WebGui>Settings>Information) don't show anything (see below). Are there other logs I can have a look at?

    You might be using outdated SSL support. What IO::Socket::SSL Version
    would Settings/Information report?

    Yeah, that all smells like https trouble. Time to look into a Pi based
    LMS solution?...

    Okay, thanks. I get

    Operating system: Linux - EN - en_US.UTF-8
    Platform Architecture: x86_64-linux
    Perl Version: 5.24.4 - x86_64-linux-thread-multi
    Audio::Scan: 0.95
    IO::Socket::SSL: 2.049
    Database Version: DBD::SQLite 1.58 (sqlite 3.22.0)

    Is this SSL version outdated? I just wonder because everything worked fine until yesterday or the day before.
    And does this log entry about DSTM mean anything?

    [21-07-08 14:42:51.2394] Slim::Control::Request::notify (2060) Error: Failed notify: Not a reference at /share/CACHEDEV1_DATA/.qpkg/LogitechMediaServer/SlimServer/Cache/InstalledPlugins/Plugins/LastMix/DontStopTheMusic.pm line 65.

    Is there a way to get a more verbose log?

    On a sidenote: is this link in my log file even correct: "https://github.com/LMS-Community/lms-plugin-repository/raw/master/extensions.xml:"
    If I try to open it in my browser I get a 404 error. The content seems to be at: "https://raw.githubusercontent.com/LMS-Community/lms-plugin-repository/master/extensions.xml"
    Do I have to change this? And where?

    Time to look into a Pi based
    LMS solution?...
    Pi clearly is cool, it is just that I have already a QNAP NAS and so far everthing just worked fine.

    It's not latest, but not that old. Is the time on your system correct?

    That's most likely a follow up issue to the main issue: as the lookup
    failed the plugin is receiving unexpected data - which it doesn't handle
    correctly.

    I have an Intel based Synology DS 1517+ with 16GB of RAM. Yet I decided
    to run LMS on a dedicated Pi4. It's much more responsive than running
    LMS on the NAS (which admittedly is running many other services).

    Will MIN_TRACKS_LEFT always be a constant or could you imagine letting plugins/mixes set that value (within a certain range) as you do with number of used seed tracks and such?

    I'm only asking because sometimes I skip tracks very quickly (near the end of the current playlist) and it happens that I find myself at the beginning of the playlist because the mixer and DSTM couldn't add new tracks in time. So increasing MIN_TRACKS_LEFT might help in that case. Just an idea.

    On the "Random Mix" page, increase the value . . . 100 seems to be the higher limit.

    Nothing's forever. But I have no plans to change it.

    Pick better music to start the mix, then you don't have to skip that
    much .
