Thanks for the response Michael - this is understandable.
I've managed to hack my way around this by removing the check for SugarCube, and adding a line so that DSTM only adds to the queue if the last track in the list is a spotify url. This works for my (unusual) implementation.

DSTM Feature Request
I have a huge library, with a lot of music files and also a lot of podcasts.
Can we have a feature to play only music files from Don'T Stop The Music ?
Like a folder or any technical way to get Music played randomly but not podcasts ?
May be an exclude or a folder include only ?
Thanks for your great job...
Regards

What mixer are you using with DSTM? You could probably create a library
view without the podcasts and use this to seed whatever mixer you're using?

Thanks, but I need some deeper explanations. I do not understand your answer.
What do you mean by "mixer" ?
And how can I create different libraries views ?
My apologise in advance because I use LMS and SqueezeBox from long times ago, and I still use it in a simplest way... I suppose

DSTM only provides the infrastructure to do the mixing. But plugins do
provide the actual functionality. Eg. Random Play would allow to
continue with a random mix. My LastMix plugin would allow you to mix
based on similarity as provided by Last.fm etc.
You can select what mixer to use in the DSTM menu. What's selected there?

When you use the Advanced Search in the web UI you can save a search as
a Library View. You then can access this like the full library, just
limited to a sub-set of your overall library.

That's my preferred option, too. And it should definitely work with
Spotty. If in doubt enable logging for plugin.lastmix and see what that
gives. The quality of your files' tags is important for it to be able to
mix local files. Minor spelling differences could make them be ignored,
as the mapping from Last.fm's results to your music happens based on the
title/names only.
