No music on Squeezebox after update to LMS 7.8.1 although 35000 files scanned.

I updated LMS from 7.7.5 to 7.8.1 today.

Problem - although the Control Panel says I have almost 35000 tracks of music - none of them are visible from ipeng or the Squeezebox Duet controller unless I open the music folder and choose the music there.
Artist, Genre, Year etc. lists are all empty.

    H E L P !

I have tried to search for a solution to this problem here on slimdevices without finding something that would help me. Sorry if I'm asking a question that's already been answered.
If so - please point me in the right direction.

Can you see artists, albums, etc from LMS WebUI?

What do the LMS server status and library statistics fields tell? You can find this in WebUI->Settings->Information.

Anything suspicious in server.log or scanner.log?

No artists, albums etc. in LMS Web UI :-(

I don't know how to interpret the information, so I enclose it below. Hope someone can read something out of it.
    Thanks for trying! :-)

You say no artists album in webUI, but it is reporting that the albums and tracks are there after last scan in what you posted. The first thing I would do is a complete "clear and rescan" scan of your library (rather than "new and changed". May not solve problem, but can't hurt.

Here is the log from a new scan, as you suggested. Same result though. :-(

I forgot to mention in my original post:
I can (and could before this rescan) open albums and see their covers on ipeng but all albums are empty.
I can also see the years - but every year is empty as well.

On the Squeezebox Duet remote there is nothing, no albums, no years, no genres.

I can see and start playback from the music folders on both ipeng, remote and the Web UI.
Hopefully someone can see the source of the problems in the new logfile:

Enable scanner logging (WebUI Settings/Advanced Logging scan.scanner to INFO) , note time and then do a complete clear library scan and when scan complete then post contents of scanner.log file from noted start time.

Sorry - I don't understand - it even took me a lot of time to find the submenu

Should I select log set (Media scanner, transcoder, server etc.)
    or
enable Advanced Log Settings: Save logging settings for use at next application restart ?

Change the setting for scan.scanner (scroll down if it is not visible) to INFO and then click the Apply button.

Thanks. Sorry, but I have to ask - where do I find Scanner.log?

By the way - are there any HTML codes or similar that would allow me to "fold" these logs in order to make the thread quicker to scroll through?
