To be sure I used the correct file I tried again, and the result was the same. (Wasnt sure if it needed to be in the same directory tree as the rest of the plugin or not, so tried both; in the plugin Directory I renamed the original and pasted the special one you sent.) Here's the output from the GDB command line, until right after the "run", if that helps any?

I did a little research and found that executing "where" after the fault yields more data, pasted below. Not sure if that helps?

Update: I attempted to re-run with "-d all=sdebug" and the GDB results were unchanged, so I went looking for the raopbridge.log. While reviewing it, i noticed the timestamps on the log lines didnt seem to reconcile to the actual times of the events this AM, so I forced a 'set date' at the command line to set date-time, and then re-started everything again. I'm now 4+ songs in streaming from Spotty, and no fault so far, fingers crossed. Could it all really have been a time/sync problem? Does that even seem possible, or has something else just coincidentally changed?

Airplay renderers disconnect
Hi,
I have a Russound xzone4 system that has separate streams each with its own airplay with 13 in total. I'm trying to use the LMS installed on my synology diskstation to use Spotty, LMS and this airplay bridge to have multiroom audio with Spotify. I have everything installed and have gotten it to work but have run across a few issues. The first is that after some time if not used the airplay renderers disappear. In the log it will say something like renderer disconnected renderer removed for each of them. The only way to bring them back is to restart LMS. The other issue I'm seeing is related to album coverart when using spotty. I have Russound XTS keypads around the house that will display the metadata and coverart for the song being played. Sometimes the coverart will display and sometimes it won't depending on what song I choose. What is odd is if I use the Russound app or the LMS app on my iphone the coverart is displayed properly for all songs. I can see on the keypad that its trying to display the coverart (quick little loading circle) but a lot of the times it fails and just puts up a music note in its place. The other metadata is there though. If I use the spotify app directly and use spotify connect or airplay this issue doesn't exist. Any help would be really appreciated. Thanks!

Impressive setup. To help, I'd need the log. Usually, players will diseapear when they go sleep mode. Most have a function to avoid that. Still, when you wake them up, the should be detected again by LMS, but takes ~30s. Re coverart, same thing I would need a log with a couple of comments saying which coverart was displayed and which was not

My log is attached. Thanks for the help. I used ipeng here and it was giving me issues. The kitchen player disappeared. Also as far as the album art is concerned in the log I saw this PlayerThread:457 [0x713960]: wrong file extension http://192.168.0.107:9002/imageproxy...ffc1/image.jpg
I assume it doesn't like the fact its a .jpg?
I made a little progress with ipeng. I got it to work a little better so the second log attached reflects that. Its a continuation of the first log. I connected directly to airplay from the ipeng player and then used the multiplayer function to group zones which uses the LMS. The coverart shows on the keypad on the zone connected directly to airplay but doesn't on the other zone going through LMS.Last edited by grimmace92; 2017-09-05 at 20:14. Reason: more info

Ah ... you have ´that' problem as well. We found it with atv2, but atv4 if fine. This is linked to file extension as received by lms then cached. When required from cache, it has a png extension although this is a jpeg. I did correct the extension but something is still wrong.

Well the good news is I made the player discovery option in the settings 1,000,000 before removing after failed scans and that seems to have fixed my issue with players disappearing. Its been pretty stable. Is there anything I can do to help with the .png vs. .jpg issue? Do you think you can fix it? Thanks for taking the time!

You can also set it to 0 in which case it will never be removed. For the jpeg problem, innées to find a way to reproduce the issue because logs do not seems to tell me anything. I need to do trial and error which is awfully painful if remotely done
