    Thanks

You're welcome - Something slipped through the cracks and was just waiting to hit (a time comparison ...). I did not see it because I don't re-pair my ATV often, obviously

Bonjour Philippe! Iíve got an Appletv first gen in which the hardware volume control is off: volume will not scale gradually from 0-100.

    0 is off
1 is already an appreciable volume (the equivalent of ~20 on the lms volume control). It will then scale normally to 100.

    Merci!

This is why you have the "mapping" option in the settings. You can add as many points as you want and everything inbetween will be a linear interpolation

I know, Iíve tried everything. It never increases the volume progressively, 1% is already very high volume. Using mapping -90:0,-45:50,0:100 does not even solve it. It changes how it behaves, but there is always that step at the beginning of the curve.

Software volume control does work, but introduces a delay in the volume change.

    server.txt
Here you go! Changing the mapping changes when the sound will start to be adjusted. When -90:0,-15:50,0:100, the sound ajustement will stop at 44 on the lms slider, sound output will be constant if I go lower.

Oops ... I need the bridge log, not the server log. And I see that you have brutfir and maybe other plugins that affect volume. Can you set the mapping back to default and try again with other plugins disabled just to make sure?

I don't think the volume mapping has been reset to default values
