I've been trying to save a radio station to one of the unused presets on my Boom, but even when I hold the numbered preset button for 30 seconds it still doesn't save. Is there any other way of saving a radio station to one of the numbered buttons (e.g. via the web interface)??

Does anyone know what causes this problem, and whether it is permanent? (i.e. the inability to save to presets on the Boom using the number keys)Comment

Do you have any idea where I would find that posting? This issue is
pretty much news to me.

Using the LMS web interface make the radio station a favorite.
On your boom scroll to your saved favorite (don't start it playing) press and hold a preset button, you should get confirmation that it's been saved as a preset.Pi5 .. pCP 9beta5 .. LMS 8.4 -- nomysqueezebox

I found a slightly simplified method that worked for me. Once the station is "tuned" in and playing, press the "play" button one more time (right arrow) on the device. That enabled presets to be saved on my system.Comment
