    Oh, I didn't know you even considered translating all of this! There is
    (should be - it's been a long time...) a much simpler way to achieve
    this. I think you simply need to append the language code as a postfix
    to the file extension to get localized versions:

    somefile.html -> english
    somefile.html.de -> german

    Please give that a try!

    just noticed that on the update.linux site
    i thought its better to use the old way cause you see all languages in a single view even that the linewrapping is a bit odd.

    But since you are the Maintainer i will do like you prefer.

    got a brainfart

    Hi Michael,

    I Just switched the 1st try from using strings to 2 independend files that works for the remotestreaming.
    But now i've got a brainfart

    That .langsuffix didnt work for the Softsqueeze Part - is that cause the Info is in a index.html? and index.html.de would not used ?

    Did you remember why the Softsquezze Info is in another part of the directory?
    i can't get this to work ....

    Thx

    It's working fine for me. You can enable debugging for network.http if
    you need more information about what's going on in the web server.

    But is it worth the hassle?...

    Softsqueeze used to be part of LMS. It then came with the Java applet
    and whatever else was required to actually run it.

    btw. My Issue about the index.html was a simple one.
    I didnt purge /var/lib/squeezeboxserver/cache/templates/usr/share/squeezeboxserver/HTML/EN/
    But is it worth the hassle?...
    IMHO yes there are still lots of Users that jumps from another forum and enjoys LMS.

    We can surely "talk" about some text in the Helpsection from the LMS Installation that told the reader "first you have to install LMS"

    Remotestreaming

    Hallo Jan,

    Vielen Dank für die Updates. Habe sie mal gemerged. Allerdings hast du
    irgendwie die Aufzählungen etwas verbockt. Normaler Text (und sogar
    Titel) sind nun Aufzählungen, dafür ist die eigentliche Aufzählung keine
    mehr?!?

    Du kannst nicht pushen, aber einen Pull-Request senden.

    Ich schaue mir das mal an.
